Anthology - Undefined Space
In March we asked for entries to a charity anthology where the theme was STOLEN. Kneel Downe's Stolen Indie Anthology is published on 20th May but we wanted to share some of the entries here on the website too, whether or not they made it into the new book. Here's Undefined Space by AJ Huffman...
“Much moves in and out
of open windows”
- Denise Levertov
Even steel bars
bedded deep in the sill
melt
to a soft silver background.
Unable to block
the passes
of a renegade wind.
Dropping
bits of the stolen song
of a morning dove
through the flowers
dancing
across pictures
of grandma’s lace curtains.
